Richland Center PumpkinFest starts Wednesday

The Second Annual Richland Center Pumpkinfest will take place Wednesday (October 23) through Sunday (October 27). Many activities are planned for the event. Children, from area school districts, were given the opportunity to create this year’s theme for Pumpkinfest. The chosen theme is, “Out of This World.” Suzanne Anderson is the creator and an organizer of Pumpkinfest:

Pumpkins for competition, and display, can be dropped off at the Courthouse lawn display area Wednesday, starting at 3:30.

Suzanne Anderson says that anyone can decorate a pumpkin entry for Pumpkinfest. The Second Annual Richland Center Pumpkinfest will kick-off Wednesday (October 23), when entries will be accepted on the Courthouse Lawn from 3:30 until 7:00. Pumpkins will be on display through Sunday (October 27), with many fun events happening throughout the weekend. Electronic registration closes Tuesday October 22, 2024 at 5:00 PM (TODAY).

Remember, you are more than welcome to register your pumpkin on Wednesday October 23 at the Courthouse Lawn (during pumpkin drop off) it is only the electronic portion of registration closing today.

Electronic registration is NOT required, as you are more than welcome to register when you drop your pumpkin off at the Courthouse lawn. Drop off time is Wednesday October 23rd from 3:30 PM until 7 PM.

Opening ceremonies will be held at 5 PM. Music, fun, and PumpkinFest 2024 registration gets underway at 3:30 PM – and you will receive a FREE hotdog AND cupcake with every entry! *While supplies last.
